Great news! OPM has just released the OPM Retirement Quick Guide, a three-page reference to help federal employees prepare for and navigate the voluntary retirement process. In addition to this being posted on OPM’s website, it is also attached to this message.

The Quick Guide includes a process overview, a tracking worksheet, a summary of items that might delay processing, definitions of key terms, and information on how to find additional resources. Importantly, the guide helps employees understand when to expect their interim and first annuity payments. The guide also highlights steps for employees to take as partners in their retirement journey.

OPM would appreciate your help in getting the word out to your members and invites you to:
